Supporting Children & their Families
We began Galway Sick Kids in order to raise funds to make a difference and improve the hospital experience for the children attending University Hospital Galway’s Paediatric unit.
We wanted to support the children and their families through stressful times by providing basic facilities, equipment and information in a child-focused, friendly environment. Our charity helps the children of Galway, Donegal, Sligo, Roscommon, Mayo and North Clare.

We Are Looking For Donations!
We are currently supporting two projects in collaboration with the nursing manager Anne Matthews and her team at St Bernadette’s Paediatric Unit, Galway University Hospital:
The refurbishment of the children’s bathroom to include a new layout, a new hoist and a more special needs friendly bathroom fittings. THIS WORK HAS NOW COMMENCED. UPDATE SHORTLY.
The redecoration of the corridors to include new paintwork and the addition of colourful, illustrated wall graphics inspired by cartoons.
Our Fundraising Goal for these projects is: €60.000
This target is for the current projects – we will have a new target shortly!!
