here is a photo of the bathroom due for refurbishment. The main problem is that the bath is low to the ground so any staff member bathing a child needs to kneel – the bath isn’t high enough – it isn’t suitable for children with special needs. The floor will need to be removed and replaced and the walls will be replaced with a material that is fully washable and treatable for infection control. A hoist will also be included in the spec.
