We were delighted to be nominated in the Children and Youth Support category for our voluntary work with the Paediatric Unit and attended the Ceremony on Wednesday May 24th in the Galway Bay Hotel – the amount of volunteering done in our local community is amazing and we were thrilled to be part of such a wonderful event. So imagine our shock and surprise when we were announced as Winners in our Category – the Charity was represented by Chairperson Colm Kennelly, Treasurer Thérése Allen and volunteer Michelle O Gorman. Mayor Clodagh Higgins and Councillor Niall McNelis presented the award.
